Description
This microlot of Kenya peaberry beans is a rare and unusual find. The peaberry is a mutation where only one bean is formed in the coffee cherry instead of two (about 5% of the harvest). The peaberries are separated by hand during the milling process. These smaller, rounder beans are known for their sweetness and rich flavor. This particular lot is complex but balanced, and is done to a nice medium roast.
